Fears and phobias

In hypnosis, you learn to face your fears when you are completely relaxed. Relaxation is the complete opposite of fearful and anxious. Relaxed in hypnosis, you can explore your irrational fears, and bit by bit, overcome them. Phobias and fears aren't only about fear of flying or spiders, but also social anxiety too. You will be surprised how quickly these phobias disappear with a few sessions of hypnotherapy.

Fear is a valuable primal instinct, helping us avoid dangerous situations. But when our fear has no valid foundation, it only serves to inhibit us and hold us back. We become fearful in anticipation of something before it has even begun. And the more we respond in this way, the more likely we are to continue to be fearful. Our brains develop neural pathways that trigger evasive action even at the thought of something which worries us. And this becomes habitual.

In a relaxed hypnosis, you learn to associate the feared object or situation with  calm relaxation with you in control. In hypnosis, you learn that there are other, more rational and useful, ways of responding. You learn to regain control. By facing your fear you become strong.

So whatever the cause of your fear, imagined or real, situations or things hypnotherapy has a track record of success. So for agoraphobia, spiders, snakes and anything else, hypnotherapy is tried and tested, quick, effective and safe.
