                    Panic attacks are speedily treated!

                    Panic attacks can seem to come out of nowhere, but they are usually triggered by something you have seen or thought, triggering an anxiety response. The symptoms can be frightening and tend to cause considerable psychological distress along with increased panic and anxiety. Some people feel they are having a heart attack, though the symptoms of panic will not do you any harm.  As well as overwhelming feelings of anxiety, a panic attack can also cause the following symptoms:
                    Palpitations, sweating, trembling, hot flushes, nausea, feeling faint, dizziness, numbness, choking, shortness of breath.

                    Usually, panic-related breathlessness can be linked to the way you are breathing. When people are anxious they tend to take rapid, shallow breaths that come directly from the chest. When you’re feeling anxious, you may not even be aware that you’re breathing this way. Your breathing may become quick, short and shallow. This is called chest breathing and can result in overbreathing. And it is this overbreathing that generates unpleasant physical sensations.

                    When you breathe in air, blood cells receive oxygen and release carbon dioxide -  a waste product that you breathe out. Overbreathing causes an imbalance in the blood, with too little carbon dioxide and calcium compared to oxygen. This leads to dizziness, numbness, headache, feelings of not really being here, and other unpleasant sensations.
