Stammering or stuttering
Most people try speech therapy first. If
this has not worked for you, then my approach
is worth a try.
The programme is based on the treatment designed
by Azrin and Nunn in the 1970s. Their approach
was reassessed in 1998 by Miltenberger and
colleagues and found to be most successful.
The report was published in the Journal of Applied
Behavior Analysis.
Anxiety is always involved in stammering
(by the way, caffeine mimics the symptos
of anxiety). Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy
is the gold standard treatment for anxiety.
Adding CBH to the long-established and successful
Azrin and Nunn programme speeds up the positive
changes. My programme consists of just 4 sessions.
And you will know from the first session
whether the programme will work for you.
